• <H3> Once the financing and initial designs are in place, and a residential lot picked out, SSHI contracts with local seasoned builders to construct age-in-place ready homes with accessibility features, helping to make home life easier for those with mobility challenges.  Some of our clients are building for their own residence and some are also building rental units.  We work with each family to customize a unique solution to fit their goals, with attention to your future home’s proximity to family, retirement income, long term care, and the ability to age-in-place and obtain in home nursing care.

• <H3> We have various sizes of universal home design floor plans available to help families begin the design process (with popular exterior and interior design options):
• <H4>     400 square foot, one bedroom cottage  (adaptable as either real property or mobile, as needed);
• <H4>     800 square foot, one bedroom home (that qualifies as an Accessory Dwelling Unit in many US counties);
• <H4>     940 square foot, one bedroom home (with the option to add a 2nd bedroom to make the below house)
• <H4>     1260 square foot, two bedroom home (2nd bedroom can be a care giver’s quarters with a separate entrance);
• <H4>     3600 square foot, seven bedroom adult care home/Assisted Living Facility (ALF). (7th bedroom is upstairs in a private suite for care giver and/or owner)
